Located in L'Hospitalet, one of Barcelona's most economically developed areas, the Hotel Porta Fira is considered one of Barcelona's finest works of architecture, designed by Japanese architect Toyo Ito (famous for designing the extension to Barcelona's Fira Gran Vía, among others), this prestigious skyscraper was awarded the EMPORIS AWARD for architecture in 2010. The 4-star Hotel Porta Fira is located directly opposite Barcelona's Fira exhibition centre. Its location allows it to take advantage of the various connections withEl Prat airport and the centre of Barcelona. It is just a 5-minute walk from the Fira Gran Vía shopping centre and 200 metres from the metro station that takes you into the centre of Barcelona. Barcelona airport is a 10-minute drive away.
